I finally have a pattern as pretty as my 1 skein of DK wt yarn. Thank you - and it’s nice to know the Finnish word for song, as my son is 1/2 Finnish and a musician. ❤

Sari! I am a Fight Attendant and live in Portland (Oregon). I will go to lost and found when I get home and ask if this is the Portland you came to. (Which I assume since you didn’t fly to NY to go to Helsinki. I could be wrong. But if they have them, would you like me to bring them to you one day? When I get a Helsinki trip? I work for United. I dont even know if we fly there. I’ll look!

Oh I thought you said Portland not Bergen.

You are making the Apollonis is Knitting for Olive Merino and silk … are you using the same gauge and needle size. I guess I’m wondering how it equates to the bulky eight yarn in the pattern

I would love to order your book, because I use knit companion which is especially helpful with charts, etc. Do you also get a digital copy or code in the book to use? Thank you
Love all the projects on your needles but wow I can't wait untill you finish Meredith Grey....So in love with that one... Also love your kitty, she is adorable

You are such an inspiration! Your designs are gorgeous. I feel “under-skilled” or inexperienced (not familiar with so many cables and texture knitting) to make them. But I will try one of the more simple designs soon. I love the acorn sweater. I watch podcaster NEKnits by Amy, and she is a huge fan of your designs. I know you met her at Flock. I will be inspired by both of you. Thank you for the podcast. ❤

Great to see you again! Personally I am really pleased to see you using more light weight yarns. Our winters (in Belgium) are not cold enough to wear big wool sweaters 😢 Cast-on-itis is very common in the knitting community so if I find a needle I will definitely cast on the beautiful Poet beanie! 😂

Sari, every single one of your designs is stylish and classy. Thank you for the warning about the edges for silk/linen knits. I live in LA so I’m totally sold on your summer knits. Now I just need to pick the right yarn to get started.

Sari I love all your design - most of all the lacy ones because I live on an Island so I used only cotton yarn. Because I.m sensitive to the sun you design with high neck are perfect for me. I adore the Poet pattern but the neckline is too wide’ is there a way I. A make the neckline closer to the neck.? Thanks a lot

Sari, I’ve always enjoyed you and your beautiful designs. I met you at la mercerie last year and was so happy to take more classes at Sacred Sheep. Today you mentioned your hometown and tears sprang to my eyes - it’s the town (Jakobstad) that my great grandparents immigrated from in 1907. Maybe this is a part of why you and your designs resonate with me. It warms my heart, and needless to say I’ll be knitting the new design named for the woman founder, feeling a wonderful connection to Finland ❤❤❤
