I like LSS' Dorothy better than KRY's. KRY is undoubtedly more skilled -- very technical in transition notes, breathing and vocalization techniques etc. KRY version felt too constrained, while LSS version felt more genuine. Moreover, LSS voices blends very well, whilst KRY's voices don't blend well due to the characteristics of their voice. Ryeowook's voice is sharp and "squeezed ", Kyu's voice is "thick" and warm, while Yesung's is very coarse. I have listened to / watched some of KRY's performances, and tbh these 3 voices don't go well in harmonization or chorus. In LSS, Leeteuk has the highest pitch and felt angelic (in contrast to wookie's upbeat voice). Siwon's voice is deep by default but he can actually go high without using falsetto. Shindong has the lowest pitch in SJ, and has a unique sound profile. These three voices really created great layers during Dorothy 's chorus part.
