Wild shit. Chip was 13 when he got murked and some of his sisters got turned out by Hoovers as well and died young too and now his niece that he never knew is "carrying on the family Hoover legacy". Sad way of growing up. I grew up on Rollin 30 Harlem crip turf and I was chip's exact age back in 95 and could've easy got put on the set but miraculously I didn't cus I knew they were "putting in work" for the wrong reasons. I'm blessed that I'm still here at 41 years old cus I've been to 18 funerals since 1996 of homies both repped different blood & crip sets that died between the ages of 12 to 33!

Chipmonk was from 83 Hoover, he was a straight up full-fledged G, dawg. Ain’t no cap, no play, he was as G as it gets despite his age. iirc he already chipped somebody, but didn’t get charged for the body, about a month later after he got out of jail he got popped at 12 years old. Chipmonk’s sister was a G as well and she got popped in like 1998. Chipmonk has another sister, so through Chip’s sister’s daughter, he’s an uncle, so Chipmonk’s niece, she’s 21 years old today, got a Chipmonk tatted on her, continuing the 83 Hoova Chip legacy, she’s like Princess Chipmonk or Princess Chip, Chipcess from 83 Hoova, and there are other Chips, they all bang. There’s another Chip, a son from Chipmonk’s sister, OkillaChip and I think he’s in prison for a shooting. A lot of different Chips, its tradition for them, there’s gonna be Chips 100 years later. Chipmonk was bangin with a strap with a 38. since he was like in elementary school, since he was 9 or 10 years old or younger, he’s been in shootouts since he was 10, he ain’t know any other life, all he knew was the streets, and LA was ACTIVE in the 90s, he didn’t have his father in his life and I heard his mother is severely incompetent… If you threw up 🤚🏿☝🏿in front of his face on Hoover St, on Fig when Chipmonk was around, he would’ve fa sho straight slumped you… that’s all he lived for, and was actively bangin, he banged on every car that passed by, that’s what he did for fun, he was straight posted up. He ain’t never really had a chance in life because his father left him, his mother severely incompetent and is an addict. His family is FULL of Chip Groovers.

As far as I know, you can’t because they don’t belong to one company. They belong to multiple companies and a lot of them are not shared anywhere. I think you tube has the most you can find in one place.

Lytle Creek road off the I-15 is an excellent source for Rosy Boas if you are ever in the neighborhood, have seen many young ones on the road (which means it is a healthy environment for them to breed..........They are beautiful, never took one home, just got them off the highway, too many being squished at night crawling around.................just saying, one herp guy to another..........

In the mid 70s, a huge Southern Pacific, easily 4 feet, got into my family's garage. San Bernardino area. We were living in a brand new neighborhood that was essentially cut out of a formerly natural area. It was under my mom's Cadillac El Dorado. Unfortunately, animal control wouldn't come pick them up at that time, so a neighbor killed it with a shovel and skinned it and actually ate the damn thing. Later on, a couple of neighborhood kids stood next to the skin which was nailed to a piece of plywood and it was almost as tall as them. They were maybe 6-7 yr old kids, standard height. Such a snake could've easily killed a kid running around. One of the most potent rattler species in the US, maybe even worse than the Mojave per Dr. Sean Bush, who worked at Loma Linda MC. He was a snake venom expert, had his own show called Venom ER (old epis are on YT).

Was this off of the 39? Were you not afraid that a car would drive by? Anyways great video!

there are ring necks up there, but I think you have to hike into the forest. Is this the main road or a private one? Just curious as I would be afraid of getting hit by a speeding car.

Thanks, it was perfect how there were no cars to mess things up. I had all the time in the world. As you can hear in the background, there's a lot of life out there in the night. I had found boas in this same area a month earlier and this is only at about 3,500' elevation. I felt really lucky to find it during our worst drought on record and during the driest time of year. Its definitely one of my best snake hunting memories.

I don't want to give out this spot, but these things are all over Western Riverside Co. You need to look under boards, rocks, and things after it rains in the spring and fall. Its that easy.

@OCOrbits Thanks a lot, it was an amazing night. It was already a bad year for road cruising because of the drought in 2007. I hadn't found much that night, nothing good, until I came up on this snake. It looked like a Lyre from the car until I walked up on it. I was in awe when I realized what it was. It was my first Mnt king ever. Thanks for the comment.
