Beautiful work. I appreciate the artist's sentiments and commentary on beauty. If you look up the definition of Fine Art, it usually relates directly to the creation or interpretation of that which is beautiful. Mr. Fryer's work certainly achieves that!

So very excellent indeed! I just viewed your blogspot site again , and loved all your posted paintings. I first stumbled onto your excellent artwork in the Ensign Magazine. = the illustration of " the sacrament tray" was soooooo beautiful, and spiritually inspired! = that led me to search out your name and artwork. This is a great video!! Do you have more ?

Hello Douglas, I was at the Principle Gallery in Alexandria yesterday and saw your work. Absolutely gorgeous stuff. Every landscape impressed me with the simplicity and economiy of mark. The sense of understated drama and poetry really spoke to me. Do you consider yourself to be a bit of a tonalist. I thought of Twachtman, Dubigny and the lesser known PA Impressionist ,William Lathrop. I also admired your subtle figurative paintings, so small but powerful. Beautiful show!
