It was my curiosity about team-rider Tiger Lily that brought me to Curious Boards, and my subsequent curiosity about Curious Boards that brought me to this interview. This was an amazing interview. Lots of funny moments, insightful moments, some boring-but-important-and-illuminating moments; I am becoming quite the fan of Curious Boards. I'm now familiar through IG with two of its riders and I like both of them so much. I love Frank's philosophy and mission, which I want to distinguish from globalization as conceived by corporate and other One-World imperial interests. Frank's globalism is a noble and heartening cause, borne of an understandable frustration of a relative isolation and hindered freedom. Frank wants to connect, open up, bring awareness, not to establish a collectivism but in fact to bring freedom and opportunity to a world and a community. I only clarify this because I don't want either Frank's globalism to improve the reputation the malevolent globalism of the New World Order, or for the New World Order's malevolent globalism to contaminate the purity of Frank's. I also love that Curious Boards consists of only 18 riders. I would LOVE to ride for Curious. Excellent job by the interviewer, who had some tremendous contributions in this conversation, and props to Frank and his awesome team.

I have a multitude of different setups in my fingerboard collection. Different styles such as street, vert, freestyle, and all around. I also have different setups from taking the time to experiment with them to find out what I liked for different things. It is also called a collection because part of the hobby is collecting the different ones I like for various reasons. Not to mention, supporting different brands for different reasons as well, including political reasons, or totally apolitical and more personal reasons. Each setup does bring something different to the table, even if two of them are the exact same. I may have a reason for that as well, for example, when a guest comes over that likes to fingerboard, but wants us both to be on as close to equal terms as we can get. That's not easy to do when you've been fingerboarding since 1998 and skateboarding from 1989 to 2024 (professionally and sponsored from 2000 to 2013). It is the same reason I have so many balisongs, so many guitars, and even so many firearms. It isn't always that we "need" them, but other than in the case of the firearms, it is that we are allowed to have them. In the case of the firearms, it is more than just being allowed to have them, but it is also a right, not to mention I would be stupid not to have at least one, where I live, with the crime rate here and some of the wildlife. The firearms actually, at that point, are definitely a need. I guess if you really break it down, I'm not going to die without my fingerboards, so really, I don't need them. I can't say the same for my firearms as I have, unfortunately, been in situations where having them has saved not only my life, but the lives of others, both when I was in the US military, and after I got out.

It's great to see someone who understands the value of diversity in their setups.

Yo Jesus Christ. I love fingerboarding and respect that yall made a podcast but MY GOD this was so hard to listen to. Its just waffling with absolutely nothing going on. 15 mins of trying to pronounce instagram names. No talk of fingerboarding or tricks or companies. Just waffling. It actually made me angry.

He looks like a nice guy, but he appears to copy many ideas, designs, and concepts from other artists online. As he himself says, drawing is just a hobby, and it's quite evident that he is more of a copycat than a true artist.
