Hi, Michelle! Loved seeing all of your WIPs! Two notes that I actually remember as I watched this: I stitch with silk all the time and on high count and I don't bother with a beading needle. Too sharp and I find it much easier to use a 28 tapestry. But it's all personal preference. Also, I hate stopping and starting threads as well but sometimes confetti stitching is unavoidable SO if you stitch the few crosses with a given color then just pull that thread through to the front where you think you'll need it next then get on with the next color and so on you will eventually end up securing the threads on the back. You can also run the threads behind other stitches on the back where available. Hope this makes sense and helps a bit. Congrats on your video! 👏👏👏

@@StitchStitchBead hi Audrey! Thanks for your tips- I’ve stitched a smaller piece on 46 with a regular 28 size needle so when I pick up my Memories of the past I should try it with the silk and see what I think. I’ve never pulled the thread forward before and waited to use it again- definitely something to try! Thanks for watching and I love your flosstube 😊💜

This may be my favorite flosstube in a long while! Your personality & humor are awesome. Pretty sure we should not sit at the same table at a retreat because we would be nonstop shenanigans 🤣 You have great projects and yes, show all the quilts too! I haven't had a chance to do a quilting retreat yet but I'm determined to do it in 2025. Good grief I had to pause & add a ton of things to my wish list - patterns, fabric, etc. This is SO not good 😂😂😂😂 I have never wanted to make my own project bags. EVER. And now I'm checking my charm packs 🤦♀

I still stitch on Aida, and Evenweave and Linen up to 40-ct. it all depends on the chart. It is hard to go back & forth from 2 to 1 strand and back. I use appx. a 16" length strand for my silks, and have a longer amount going through the eye, like a tail, so it doesn't come off my needle - - which is a "sharp size 10" needle as it will double as a small beading needle. Cute bags, fun charts, nice WIPs Good job of FT #1
