I have thinning wavy hair , it gets frizzy when the blending shears are used .Any suggestions

I cut my own hair and this is how I do it except I have covid related hair loss that didn't grow back... so I don't use the fine texture sheers and I use a straight razor and razor comb to get it tight at the back. Save for needing to trim at the ears and back, it looks styled for 2 months.
