October 2022 AHS:NYC episode brought me here. I am a fan of the diva Patti Lupone, so I eagerly awaited the credits of the part of her character's "swing" audition from that episode, which got me here. The comments about Patti's retirement seem to have also come to recirculate as in 2022 she garnered press for not renewing her Actors' Equity membership. A plus to realize that I had seen Jonathan Hoover in the pbs broadcast of one of his roles, but didn't know his range!

I've always wondered how so many great female impersonators who nail Bernadette, Angela, et al can never do Patti. This confirms a long held belief - LuPone sings like a man - see her bootleg soliloquy from Carousel. By a mile the best impression, loving and devastating.
