The entire story is just a Allegorical fable , meaning that ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಕಾರರು uses some tool to attain and deliver the truth of life cycle and the deep spiritual meaning. I have a bird house in my backyard, a very soft and timid bird , called Blue Bird (Found mostly in US) made it's home during summer and raised babies and went away. In one season , a flock of house sparrows invaded US from UK and the nature of house sparrow is to destroy Blue Bird nest and make its own. So , In my bird house , I used to watch and make sure it does not happen, but one morning saw 3 small bird-lings on my deck and they were all dead. 4th one was just clinging on to its life, I lifted it up and put it back and eventually grew and flew away . Later that year , US Environment government eliminated the infestation of house sparrow which was a menace. Later next season, the same repeated and it lost all its eggs , in spite of that the female bird went inside and occupied pretending to warm the eggs , that was heart moving. - ಮಾತ್ರ ಸ್ಪ್ರಾಶಸ್ಟ್ ಕೌಂತೇಯ ಶೀತೋಷ್ಣ ಸುಖ ದುಃಖದ is the line that I remembered, but my wife cried like anything . What I want to say is the story is fiction to convey the underlying the deep philosophical meaning.
