Hi! Tips outs are done to lighten faded or brassy ends or to make the hair look more solid at the bottom similar to an ombre. Tip outs are recommended to do when you get highlights and need to brighten the hair that’s left out the foil

It’s ok as long as you use it once a week, and make sure every time you use heat that you are using a heat protector, 21 benefit spray by purelogy is my favourite. I recommend it to all my clients!
