Bank job is Best for those who are ready to live alone and away from home., if he is doing first govt job in his family.Salary is Good and promotion are fastest from all fields. Work is more than other departments. Every Br has around 5 employee, in which one employee do 50% of his duty work, 2 10:43 nd does 65 % of his duty, 3rd does 75% of his duty and fourth does 100 % of his duty and 5th has to do 200 % of his duty work . This situation creates different scenarios for these 5 employees. Here somebody leaves office 5:1PM,, 5:45,6:30 ,7 PM and many times some employee has to come on Holidays also. Worst doing employee takes 40 days leave in year and some got only 20 days, so work is not more there but this difference persists. Those who feel this problem they are not happy in Bank job. Other are happy.

After read most of the comments are from sbi and other govt sector banks ,you guys are worrying about target pressure even though work in sbi me as relationship manager in city union bank what i do full of target 12 hours of work, i feeling so bad to chose this banking sector, please wish me guys soon i will shine please 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Bank job is a trap , it will ruin your mental peace a over period of time , high risk is involved and salary is very less compared to risk , salary is very less. Pls go for software job or do own business or do agriculture, dont come to banking sector. I am telling from my 12 yrs experience in banking sector

I joined Oriental Bank of Commerce(Now PNB) in 2005 as IT Officer, I became Manager in 2010, but right after the permanent posting in Regional Office, I was noticing that I was not doing any work which can not be done by a class 8th pass. I was under depression with that clerical job day in and day out. I started to give interview in many software companies during that time but got rejection as I was not having any relevant experience. Ultimately, after lot of trying , in 2010 I managed to get another State PSU job. I would say, if someone is ordinary graduate and does not have any expectation of quality work and can work for 10 hours per day, should not have any problem in Bank's job.
