@@Shanon-nb4ev interesting. Is it on private land? Or is this the Moki stock tunnel. This route wasn’t meant to be exhaustive, but more so an accessible route for as many as possible in a logical loop. I’m aware of about 6 more tunnels currently. Feel free to message me [email protected]

@@Shanon-nb4ev Sounds like it could be the Moki stock tunnel. I have been invited to see 2 more over summer on private land, I’m trying to find time to research their history and see if it matches what I think is correct. There are a couple more I’ve seen on some Topo maps, but not others and are in the middle of nowhere.

This was what is known as a Papaiti loop. Head up Papaiti Rd which becomes Kauarapaoa Rd, then heads back down Rangitautau West Rd. We did it the harder way. Clockwise seems easier is the general consensus.

Thanks for the video man, I forgot all about those Waikato river trails I saw them once driving past maybe 8 years ago [before I was MTB mad!] TrailForks doesn't really show much recent info, did you ride them all or have you got any recent intel? Hi can anyone tell me if the top flat part of the dash can come off alone leaving the top and lower dash still fixed as I need access to run some wiring from engine bay through the top grommet on the right hand side when looking at the engine head on. Or is there any other easier route to run cabling inside the cab? Thanks
@smiles_per_hr6408
@smiles_per_hr6408 4 ай бұрын
Not sure about an easier way, but the dash is pretty secure with just the top dash pad removed. From memory even the instrument cluster sits in its own enclosed frame which has more bolts retaining it also.
