This explanation of Psalm 145:9 resonates with me. I was praying to the Lord earlier because I was struggling with a temptation in my thoughts. I took out God’s Word and began to speak & pray the following scripture: “His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence, by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire.” ‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭1‬:‭3‬-‭4‬ ‭ESV‬‬ I was crying out to God to show me the “great and precious promises” He has given to me to escape the corruption and lust in this world. I also prayed asking that I would know him more and to love him more because he first loved us. I just spent some time crying out to God and pleading with him. As I was finishing up praying I was reminded of Psalms 145:9, which led me to KZbin to see if there were any sermons on the verse. Your explanation resonates with me.…and ironically, @mkl62 made a comment and asked “what promises can we hold onto?” Wow! I don’t think it is a coincidence that I ran across your specific KZbin upload and the comment that was also listed on this video. I love how God weaves things together and shows us that he is speaking to us and that he cares about each of us. Just as his word says, there’s not one sparrow that falls to the ground that he’s not aware of. ❤️ “Are not two little sparrows sold for a copper coin?
