Dude, I looked at a map of Lost Island at IAAPA and it had future rides on it. Like a Gerstlauer Spinning coaster and a Vekoma Flying Coaster.

They were teasing two possible ride systems to keep people guessing, but given how those old master plans floating around had a spinning coaster in Yuta, they'll still probably do the Moose there somewhere down the line.

Yeah… Great America while having a couple family options does need more, when I look at the line up… I just think it’s missing something for those who aren’t ready for the big thrill rides, but wants something more intense than Whizzer, kinda like the straddle going to New England

The thing is that a new roller coaster is way more marketable than a flat ride, plus some people like roller coasters more because depending on which flat, they can feel janky and “unsafe” while a brand new coaster is seen as state of the art

Six Flags Great America still has a few spots left where a rollercoaster can be placed such as the Go-Karts, Roaring Rapids, and Picnic Grove/outside theater.

For SFOG, they finally got a launch coaster for 2024 as an Intamin Ultra Surf. I see a RMC Raptor making its way to the park in 2026-27 as their next coaster to steal FSA’s opportunity to get one in the future

@@MorrisPlaysGames I agree, a lot of us Georgians were all disappointed that Kid Flash wasn’t the single-rail coaster we were hoping for cuz we were rooting for a Raptor to be our next coaster besides a launch coaster. But looking on the bright side, the aurora light the coaster has is amazing to see when it’s lit up at night

I’ve never been to either but I’ll compare my experiences at Magic Mountain with CGA and Knotts. Magic Mountain has a cheap feel that feels very generic… Cedar fair parks have a sense of personality, but they are more family friendly.

I think this was a great move for both companies. Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's have had a lot of success after they joined forces in 2017, so I am sure these can achieve a lot together as well. After all, Six Flags could learn a lot from Cedar Fair, such as better operations, improvements in cleaning and atmosphere, and less ride closures among other things.

Selim is not gone. He is the CEO-Chairman of the Board. The board directs the CEO-President, so Selim technically has more authority if you want to view it in that way.

Kinda like when the guy copied the layout of that Chinese wing coaster almost immediately after volcano was removed? That rumor was quickly shot down as cedar fair doesn't generally install cloned layouts. Also reddit is HARDLY a credible source of information on anything...it's an internet message board where anyone can post anything without any credible information and other users see that and pass it along on KZbin to boost their subscriber base Obviously this layout is fake somebody just superimposed a recreation of thunderbird from holiday world overtop of volcano's site...the dead giveaway is the fact that reptilian ( which is now orange) shows up in the original avalanche colors while tumbili shows up in it's correct colors.....cedar fair would NEVER tolerate such a mistake, however small into videos being used to represent their products.

Worlds of fun has a rule when Lamar had the park. Every tree and nature they remove they have to replace somewhere in the park. And Wof doesn’t own that area between 435 and patriot side of the park.

Since WoF just got a new coaster in 2023, we are looking at new benches, trash cans, and three big carnival rides over the next ten years and then MAYBE, maybe, we'll get another coaster and it will probably be a hand-me-down.

Please do your homework before releasing another video. The truth is New England can not have a launch coaster because the park was never made for one. It does not have the electricity needed. The whole town would have to redo the grid to make that possible. Look it up!

If they could have a launch coaster they would, but remember, they are not like any other 6 flags parks. They are in a small town. They can’t expand or change anything. That’s why they are just retheeming rides and saying they are new.

While I don't think it will be even close to being SeaWorld San Diego's next coaster, one that would be perfect for the park is a Vekoma STC called "Sea Serpent" and it would be themed on the oarfish.
