It never worked out for me. The one time I drove it I should have videoed it. He still has it and already put about 70k miles on it. No issues Does a good bit of towing with it.

I have a 22 that I bought in October of 21 so as of now I have had my 7.3 for 3 years has been tuned by 5 star since 500 miles on the truck I absolutely love the tuning I now have 40,000 miles on the truck with zero problems I drive it hard every time I drive it!!!!!!! Quick question is the any tuning updates since I have had it tuned since October of 21

I work at 5 Star so it was free. No plans of cams unless it breaks. I don’t plan on using the Ghost cam tune very much. Not good for the cats

I honestly not sure how much they will hold up to. I can tell you mine makes 715Hp crank & 622 to the wheels and 645tq and never had any issues engine nor Trans. I have driven it hard. I have seen some make 1000hp but they were in Mustangs

That’s what they recommended and mine has a Super Charger. It lubricates better than thicker oil. Good question

It depends on how much your truck sits in the baking sun and how you use your bed. This was 2 years ago mine still looks decent especially the sides of the bed. If in the sun a lot and you use your bed, every 1-2 years is a good time to reapply.

Tuner and tunes for sure. A good many people do pair the two but the throttle sensitivity is adjusted in the tune. They pick up good HP/TQ

Those hot ones , where they on passenger side ??? If so just seen a firetruck mechanic, with 17 of these engines, said that those 2 hoses on that side are rubbing the wires and making it miss on the number 2 plug on all of them . Just a thought.

This sounds a lot like what happened with the 2.7 bronco's and dropping valves. There was a run of bad valves that Ford received and and it caused valve failure on some bronco's but Ford narrowed it down to what bronco's by VIN that received the batch of bad valves. Even though it was not wide spread and limited to only a small amount of bronco's people still pushed the narrative of the 2.7 having value issues long after it had been resolved. Often times peoples perception of something being wrong is far worse than the actual issue
