I installed mine today without removing the tires. took about a hour and a half from start to finish but could've been faster.

Yes these people are correct, the lights need to breathe . Do not seal them so they can’t breath . There are little plugs that are often pushed in to tight so the light can’t breath there for you get condensation.

Just an FYI. For anyone thinking of getting this kit. I bought one for a 2014 Ram. And it worked great for 2 years. then the rust forming on the coil springs rubbed a hole in one of the bags causing it to fail. now airlift replaced the bag for free. They have excellent customer service. But this is a problem that is going to happen again. We are switching to the airlift 5000 which is not affected by the coil springs.

Wow. This is a first. I have never seen anyone take off the entire grill facade instead of just using a long ratchet extension to reach the bottom bolt. I guess there's a long way to do it as well.

I had to take the grill off mine to change a low beam bulb, because that bottom bolt was catching on something. Not Even a 20lb magnet could get it.

You messed up when you sealed that vent with silicone. You should leave it open so that air can circulate to allow the moisture to escape 50 bucks says you have the same problem again next year.

The reason it gets full of condensation is because there are o think 3 plugs on the back of yhe headlight. These are vents and for some reason the caps got pushed in too far and closes off vent not allowing cavity to breath. You have to pull these caps out so they are fully retracted but stiill in plug hole and you won't have any more problems 😊😊

Your problem could've been the air vents were too tight. This is a common problem on these 4th gens. Always the driver side. Theres like 3-4 vents thats pushed in too tight at the back and needs to be pull out a bit for the headlight to breath.

We full-time live in our 2021 Open Range in Alberta, Canada. We leave both our grey tanks open and have both our black tanks closed and will empty and flag those a couple times a week. We have been living in ours for 3 winters now. This year, a couple weeks ago it dropped to -56 celsius and we are having the issue where our black tank itself is frozen, when we flush and look down we can see the giant ice block 😰 it’s warming up now, but not enough to help it thaw out.

We learned last year not to leave any of our tanks opened during the winter. This year we are currently dealing with our gates frozen shut in 1 degree weather in Iowa. We are taken care of it today and trying to wrap our little bit exposed pipes with heating tape and insulation and pray we can dump soon! We are completely full!
