Me again - getting my car remote tuned currently and have an issue with inconsistent AFRs. I remembered your video and thought maybe it was a similar issue with the O2 sensor. Mine was stuck in the OEM downpipe so I replaced it with an aftermarket one that maybe isn't working right. What brand was the sensor you removed and what brand was the new sensor? Cheers
@_kanes2 күн бұрын
I'm pretty sure the sensor that came out was original to the car; it just needed to be replaced due to age. The replacement one was NGK or Denso. Both are quality brands so either one is fine.

Car looks good man!😎 Is this basically a Honda Accord? I’m from the uk and looking for one, they look the same from the back but the front of yours has different styling from the accord. Interior and wheels are the same though. I guess the US called it the Acura and changed the styling abit? Apart from that is it still a 2.0 or 2.4 petrol i-vtec? I’m looking for a 2.4 petrol, but there’s very few in the classifieds over here, there mostly 2.0 petrols or 2.2 diesels.

Good results! You can change out the intake manifold for another one like RRC, you do lose a bit of low end torque but possibly gain +10hp at the top end. 220-230 seems to be the limit for yhese cars without a head swap or forced induction. Ive got an RSP manifold on mine with shortened trumpets, was reasonably straightforward to fit with the PRL adapters. No tune yet, waiting for exhaust still....zzzz. Considered changing injectors and throttle body but came to the conclusion its a waste of money for this power level.
@_kanes4 ай бұрын
Not gonna bother with the manifold; too much hassle and the trade off isn't worth it for me. I think bolt on with cams you can reach around mid 240hp. If you wanna keep up with the German cars though, you need boost. Idk though, too much money needed for all this bs.
