Great scene. Smith was a very good fighter in real life and Clint is strong and worked out all the time.

Bill Smith was never an "actor." He was just himself all the time. And 'himself' is thoroughly badasz. He had no problem being the russian-speaking Spetznaz colonel in the OG Red Dawn. That was just him, getting paid.

I love this scene. Jack baits Philo and is in awe and the reverse happens a few seconds later. Such good movies

This was a really great and underrated movie. Full of good actors, and classic scenes, and dialogue like this. I really miss those days. Clint really was a genius, and all the cases in his movies came from his mind. Many recast in his movies. Mr. Smith here fell right into that category. He even played a small part in The Outsiders as the store owner that shot Matt Dillon, and also Eye of the Tiger with Gary Busey.

These 2 films used to be a favourite of mine, until a couple of years ago I found out Clyde the apes handler beat him to death with a bar because he stole food from the buffet during filming. Absolutely disgusted. Never watch them again.😡
