Great job, but i do have some tips for you. First of all, you should try to learn to parry more, its really useful, dealing a handful of damage while fully replenishing your health. Also, you should try learning and memorizing minos' attacks, you can do this by listening to what minos says before his attacks. Yea, other than that, everything's great, i subbed btw :)

you are comparing game features, not engines though… underwater screen tint is usually just 3 variables, ducking is literally just changing player's speed, height and camera position relative to player origin, and +using is literally just shooting but with an invisible ray and a different type of shot that only triggers objects that accept such "shots" game engine comparison would have been half-life's colored lighting support, animation interpolation (so that animations look smooth and not like they are teleporting), difference in collision detections - player no longer slides down slopes while being completely stationary, etc

Really you should rename this video to idTech engine. Quake's engine is not specific to quake and never was. In fact, DOOM used idTech 1 first. But even idTech 1 was assigned to multiple titles beyond just Doom and Doom II.
