It’s pretty slow, and pushes and pulls the entire piece.

Beautiful playing! This is the best recording I’ve seen of the horn arrangement and I’ve been playing along to it, even coping some of the ornamentation :)

Absolutely beautiful, I love the French horn but I haven't picked one up in years but am getting the itch again to play. I would love to hear more from these guys. I was wandering if you had a full length copy of all their Christmas music and other genre of like classical or movie themes with just the French horn solos like this piece??

Drew Phillips First of all sir, thank you so much for the reply and it is a true honor and privilege to listen to this and other fine compositions by the both of you and even more so to be able to talk to the man himself. I ask you to forgive me and my blonde moments as I honestly didn't put 2 and 2 together as I read the description but didn't really pay attention to the name on the channel..I don't know what I was thinking but it was also the middle of the night when I was searching for French horn music. Hello Catherine! The bass part played is available from The Hornists' Nest and is labeled the "Optional Bass Parts" that correspond to the Just Desserts. I got both the bass parts and the Just Desserts solo parts from Pope Repair for $10. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!
