While the multiScan100 isn't quite up to bug-zapping, its ability to detect and map environments with incredible accuracy might just help us find those pesky mosquitoes more easily! 😃😉

How can we factory reset the permanently coded devices. To erase the actuator data
@SICKSensorsАй бұрын
Hello and thank you for your question. It’s not possible to erase the actuator data. If high coding is required, but not only one-time teaching, we’d recommend to use the uniquely coded versions. Unlike the permanently coded devices, they allow re-teaching the actuator up to 8 times (e.g. if the actuator got lost or broken). The permanently coded devices allow only one-time teaching, if the actuator is lost, the sensor has to be replaced as well, no reset is possible.

Hallo, freut uns sehr, dass du dich für eine Ausbildung bei uns interessierst. Im Bereich Informatik gibt es bei uns keine Nachtschichten. In produktionsnahen IT- Bereichen können vereinzelt Bereitschaftsdienste vorkommen. Diese Dienste werden auf mehrere Mitarbeitende verteilt und es geht in erster Linie darum, erreichbar zu sein und schnellstmöglich Hilfe zu leisten, sofern eine Situation dies erfordert.

what is connect to the "safeRS3 Control digital inputs and outputs terminal block?"
@SICKSensorsАй бұрын
Hello @lifeonearth5321 and thank you for your question! The digital input and output block is used to connect the safeRS3 control to another PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) in order to exchange digital signals. The inputs can be used e.g. to activate different monitoring cases and the outputs are usually used to communicate the safe output signals from the safeRS3 control to the PLC for safety related stops of the machine. The configuration and use of the block is up to the user. The communication is done with standard high/low signals (“1” and “0”). For more information on this, please refer to the operating instruction of the safeRS3 system: cdn.sick.com/media/docs/3/53/653/operating_instructions_safers3_5_meter_sensors_safe_radar_system_en_im0101653.pdf Have a good day!

@SICKSensors2 ай бұрын
Hello @a.fedyukhin and thank you for your question! Our color sensor CSS High Resolution comes with 2 outputs and versions with 4 outputs. In addition the switching outputs can be binary coded, enabling to output up to 15 colors (Output mode “Coded”). IO-Link opens up even more options: Here up to 24 colors can be stored in one job. If you are interested you can find more details about the different variants here: www.sick.com/catalog/produkte/detektionssensoren/farbsensoren/css-high-resolution/c/g549473?tab=selection&filters=Anschlussart%3C@%3E473::BooleanFilter::Stecker%20M12,%208-polig Have a good day!

Hi, is there a way where I can have SP1 and RP1 on the main screen instead of SP1 and SP2? tried find it in the data sheet but nothing. Please advise if this is doable. Thanks
@SICKSensors3 ай бұрын
Unfortunately, the setting you requested is not possible. However, you can obtain quick information on the respective SP1 and RP1 or SP2 and RP2 by pressing and holding the left button. The sensor then switches to the so-called "Info" mode and the set values of the SP and RP as well as other sensor settings are displayed one after the other. This is also described in the tutorial. After running through the information, the sensor then shows the standard information on the display again. If it is an option for you, you could use the sensor in window mode. In this mode, the values for the upper and lower window values are shown alternately in the two lower lines of the display. This means that FH1 and FL1 are displayed alternately in the top line and the values for FH2 and FL2 are displayed alternately in the bottom line. The difference between hysteresis mode - i.e. operation with switching points (SP1/SP2) and reset points (RP1/RP2) - and window mode is described in the PAC50 operating instructions. If you have any further questions, you are welcome to contact our experts directly via [email protected] . They will help you with your request.

plain lies, every physicist knows it
@SICKSensors4 ай бұрын
Thanks for your comment @dimsum5567. You are right that the actual sound cone we sent out from the device cannot be changed by software. But we are able to control the amplification/gain of the received signal, which we call echo, leading to a variable measuring behavior. So, to evaluate a variable sound cone shape we decrease or increase the echo amplification at the desired distances. If you have challenges with your application or further questions, please contact our technical experts by mail: [email protected] Have a good day.

Hello SICK, I have this sensor & SiLink2 Master. How can i connect this CSS high resolution Color sensor with SiLink2 Master & SOPAS ET? Which cable will be used between this CSS High resolution sensor & SiLink2 Master?
@SICKSensors5 ай бұрын
Hello AutomationBeats and thanks for your question! The CSS Color Sensor is an IO-Link device, so it can be connected directly to the Sopas App via the SiLink2 Master using a standard sensor M12 cable. If you have any troubles installing the driver to establish a connection for the first time with this sensor, we recommend this tutorial: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jX3JYmWHfaiJeM0 You can also reach out to us at [email protected] or contact us via the contact form on our website if you have further questions. @@SICKSensors I need to know which cable will be used for CSS & SiLink 2 Master? Can you tell me cable model #?
@SICKSensors5 ай бұрын
If you would like to use CSS High Resolution in combination with SiLink2 Master we recommend the CSS article numbers 1120173 or 1120174, as they can be directly connected with a standard M12 cable (e.g article number 2096599).

@SICKSensors I'm using CSS-WBGAD4118AA10Z (Part No. 1120172) It is 8 Pin M12 Male I'm confused about which cable will be used with this model & to SiLink2 Master
@SICKSensors5 ай бұрын
Dear AutomationBeats, Unfortunately, there is no cable available which enables the connection between this model of CSS and an IO-Link Master with 5-Pin-Ports. The best solution is to buy an 8-Pin (female) cable with flying leads and a male connector with screw terminals: • Cable: YF2A18-050UA5XLEAX, part number 2095653 (available in other lengths, too) • Connector: STE-1205-G, part number 6022083 Only pins L+, M and C are needed for IO-Link to work. • On CSS side: L+ (pin 2), M (pin 7), C (pin 3) • On IO-Link Master side: L+ (pin 1), M (pin 3), C (pin 4) We are working on a new cable that can connect to this product without the manual assembly described above. We hope that this solution will meet your current needs. Have a good day!

Thank you for your interest! The W10 has only 4 variants to make the selection as simplified as possible. This includes a long range version which takes the maximum sensing distance to 700mm. For analog applications specifically, please have a look at our portfolio or contact us directly at [email protected] or on our website: www.sick.com. Have a good day!
