I am very glad for this distinction to Irene. Irene Natividad is the no. 1 person worldwide, who honored women, loved and helped women in all paces of life, gave them chances to fight for their problems, gave then solutions to solve their problems, encouraged them, presented them opportunities and models to follow, widen their horizons and taught them how to put targets and fight for their lives, for their future for their rights. Irene Natividad is the No1 lady who knows what women entrepreneurship means, what women are able of doing, what women can offer the world. I am proud of being her friend and lucky because I met her and worked with her.

I was the first woman to propose the quotas for women directors in Brazil. And I can prove that.
@mariea.abanga235611 жыл бұрын
I am of the opinion that we have to start somewhere, and Quotas is the better of the options open. It had so far been "voluntary initatives" at least for those countries where there weren't express laws or practices prohibiting women on boards or much more, and where did we get; As Vuyo Mahlati of South Africa asked, How long are we going to wait?The Fact is something has to be done to achieve gender parity, much is being done, much more is yet to done and Quotas is a step in the right direction
