Yes they are last for long time the gray containers I have been used for 6 years the blue one been 2 years they are still good shape . They are made by fiberglass very strong

Benny Hoang mình bỏ xử dụng cách lọc này 3 năm rồi . Rất mất thời gian để rửa ( hầu như là mỗi ngày ) vì lưới chặn phân nó bị bít . Hoạt động của nó là : Hệ thống lọc của mình theo nguyên tắc bình thông nhau bơm hút nước từ ngăn lọc rồi trả về hồ , nước và chất thải đi qua hai cái thùng phuy nhựa được gắn mấy tấm lưới inox trên thành của thùng phuy chất thải được chặn lại nước sạch đi qua thùng phuy và được bơm trả về hồ . Đơn giản vậy thôi

I have quit using this filter for 3 years. It takes a long time to wash (almost every day) because feces are blocked. Its operation is: My filtration system follows the principle of connecting the water pump tank from the filter compartment and then back to the pond water and waste go through two plastic drums attached to the stainless steel net on the waste been trapped drum wall. Clean water through drum and pump back to tank. Such simple

They has some different size my pond is 7000galon but I bought little bit bigger rdf This is 12000g/H unit cost about $2,200 +$1000ship = $3,200 Aircargo ship about 1 -2 week . Here is the answer : depend how many gallon for your pond you can have a drum the same volume or bigger ... My drum filter is 12000 gallon cost about $3500.00 ship from Vietnam about 10 day with air cargo . With the same unit of my drum filter in Usa cost about 6 to 7 thousand dollars

Yes it is . You can add whatever plant you like flower elephant plant.... This is first time I try to make flooding island with green filter mat

that is nice additional feature of your koi pond

This is my first flooding island , It is green filter mat attached 2 mat together bettwin the mat is pool noodles . The second one I make with insulation board ( the pink one ) you can cut shape you like and cut many hole same or different size with plant pot . Use clay media for pond and whatever plant you like

Thank you very much! Since moving we finished our new pond a week ago. I have never made anything like those and appreciate the information. What I have made if your interested , to protect the lilies and floater plants from the koi, I take a holla hoop and some black shade cloth or a black cloth laundry bag for a dollar at the dollar store. I use fishing line and sew it all around the edges. I make flat ones for floaters and use laundry bags for setting lilies down inside. Works great and much cheaper than the ones you buy.
