I'm not saying it's unimportant but it's only one side of such an ancient, enormous, complex, and multi-faceted phenomenon as the ROC. You're speaking about the relevance of the ROC referring to bishops and public websites, ignoring, for example, priests who serve the faithful directly. Are you aware of the conflict between (married) priests and bishops that's going on for centuries and caused more than one schism? Are you aware of hundreds of defrocked priests for their anti-war position?
