I have a Canon EOS 100f film body from 1990. Just got this lens for $50. Passed through a quality check without any flaws. Gonna be replacing the old kit lens 35-80mm which is not the greatest lens ever.

This was recorded in 1/30th second and 1/15th of second in the slow shutter scenes. This will drop the frame rate to absorb more light.

It's pretty bad on 4K fine mode but on 4K Standard mode it's not that noticable.

This lens's focus just like it's prime 28mm f2 and 35mm f2 which is similar in sounds. Being loud but fast than standard kit lenses.

EF lenses are supported on the Viltrox adapter so it should work fine :)

This is a terrible video! The camera is crammed against the back of the subject camera. The shot is vague. He's not explaining what buttons he's pushing to access things. He's just talking to himself. Pointless!

I bought this camera years ago and justu.faith/CanonCamera?司 then sold it thinking I would just use my Cell phone to take photos! Big mistake, so I bought it again, its easy to use and great for a beginner like me, love love love this camera!!!!

Yes you can lock the exposure on the camera like the video mentions, when doing videos at home . When walking around I would recommend setting the exposure to auto In that case due to light changes in the scenery you're in. Cheers!

Awesome to hear! I have used this lens tremendously on video shoots with my C100mk2. It is a parfocal lens so the focus always stays the same regardless of the zoom. 👍

Hey, Alan! I think I had this lens way back in the '90s with my Canon 650 (a film body) I just bought it again today! (8/8/19) REALLY cheap! I actually like it quite a bit. I am a professional photographer (I shoot sports) Just for fun, I am going to try it for a few candids in the dugout this weekend (*I have a baseball tournament shoot) I am looking forward to seeing how it holds up to modern, more mature (read, expensive) glass. **Note: I know this contest is setting up the little lens to fail, but I don't think it will do as poorly as one might expect**

I got this lens for free and it is good, but the one thing that is bad is that autofocus.

The AF is noisy, but it is actually quite fast and quite accurate.

Just let it pressed for a few seconds and it will work. What I also do sometimes is that I first take a picture (with auto focus on (on the lense) and then I switch to video
