WOW!! What beautiful artwork. Thank you for sharing. I saw many villages as I traveled through Canada to drive to Alaska. The stories and designs and culture are absolutely magnificent.

Buddy of mine took me out to a place north of San Francisco where they do this. Filled up 🔝 2 big cooler full of oysters and ice and threw a big party. Unbelievable! So good! Bet those Alaskan oysters are even better!

The Adzes were interesting - looks like giant scorps fastened onto a traditional handle. It's interesting that there is not a commercial equivalent, given that the adze eliminates need for a mallet. The design process was interesting, too. And the finished replication poles look like they might not have a finish except paint? Also interesting.

What do you mean by a commercial equivalent to an Adze? I could imagine someone using an angle grinder with wood removing disc, but it won't be able to replicate hand tool marks or the finish.

@@michaelballinger6419The Adze clearly has a place in working large pieces of wood, and I would have liked to see some commercially available adzes on Amazon. Amazon does have one or two, but only in the smallest sizes. Like, toy sized. I guess that it's too much to expect to find an Adze set by, for example, Narex or Stanley.
