Absolutely gorgeous, but dry camping? Perhaps, Back country camping, looks Iike a clear cutting area, I definitely would be interested, because I'll not camp through NV summer again, my inverter took the heat bad, after 105* the fan comes on to prevent battery overheating. That occurred 19 times.

Really nice video. What's the rule about bringing your RV and then leaving for a few days? Does there always have to be someone at your campsite? Can you leave and come back on the weekends?

I think the rule is 48 hours. But to be sure I would suggest you go on the Yuma, Arizona BLM website and it lists all the rules. Thanks for watching.

How far out is the ltva camping??? Is it from mountain to mountain left to right in the valley, I can not find a good map that shows boundaries

Your best bet to see the boundaries of all the LTV and BLM land is go to the Yuma Arizona BLM site.

Hi Tim, We're going to stop by at quartzsite in a few weeks, it's our first time there and will be staining there for about 8 to 10 days, will most likely stay at Laposa South and was wondering what's a typical distance we should park from other rv's there so we don't bother anyone ? Thank you

Hi Tim, how many vault toilets are THERE?

I’m not sure how many but I would guess between 10 and 12. If you go to the BLM government Yuma site I would guess that it may list the number.

Hi Tim , first time here on your channel, that looks amazing, all the rv’s . So much for being secluded , just saying. Unless Of course you’re with friends or family . I would like to try this boondocking sometime , but I don’t think my wife is for it. We have a 40’ motorhome which is self contained. Maybe one of the rv parks in Quarzite will work if not all book up. If you know of a good one, let us know? We are currently in Idaho where it’s freezing and snowing, our home base. Thanks for sharing.
@timaz10668 ай бұрын
There are plenty of RV parks in Quartzsite. I can't recommend any because I boondock 95% of the year. I spent most of last summer in your beautiful state. But I head south from there in September....cold.
@rikellis78718 ай бұрын
Hi Tim, what happens after this season of 7 months end, do most people do the short term of 14 days, spend some away and then come back or just leave until September. I ask that because I'm heading to Lake mead for a checkout and then there on 4/15 for two weeks.
@timaz10668 ай бұрын
Most people leave here and go north between March and April and don't come back until October or November.

I have spent several winters in La Posa South LTVA. I could not get out there this winter due to health reasons. Your videos are awesome, and I truly enjoyed watching them, however, I do believe that you are not aware of the serious FAA. regulations that you are violating! I am an FAA. part 107 licensed drone pilot and suggest to you Sir. that you do some research regarding the safe operation of a Drone. (UAS) The FAA. does not have a problem issuing substantial fines for violations of its rules. Please do some research and fly safe!
@timaz10668 ай бұрын
I'm not monetized and I don't plan on it. I'm a private pilot and know the laws for safe flight. I hope you get better.

Hello Tim, one question I have, since one must leave after 14 days, when the season ends, and your paying the $75 for the rest of the year, where do people go, a regular RV park?
@timaz10668 ай бұрын
I paid the $180 fee for the permit. I don't stay past mid March and head north.
