Did you do a pack with me with hand luggage only - easy jet ✈️ going with my 8 year old daughter same hotel as you easy jet too , just worried about the luggage 🧳 did they mind you taking away food at breakfast? Was the staff friendly 😊

Yes I did do a pack with me on my trip announcement on this playlist. I’ll be honest it wasn’t easy fitting everything in but there are things we took we didn’t use because of the rain! Your 8 year old will love the hotel - everyone seemed to take food out for lunch and no one said anything x

Hi, thanks for watching and subscribing- we really appreciate it. You’ll see from the vlogs that it was cooler in the mornings and when it got dark but was a nice temperature in between. We were lucky with the weather at Volcano Bay the first day we went. It took a bit longer to dry off. Just pack a sweatshirt/ hoodies and you’ll be grand. Hope you enjoy the vlogs. First time watcher, new sub. Can you not clear usa customs in ireland? I thought id seen on another vlogger this was possible.

Thanks for watching and subscribing. Yes you can clear US customs from Ireland. We’ve used that service in previous vlogs. On this trip we flew via Canada. You can only clear US immigration when flying to the US. I e got other videos up flying to the US with Aer Lingus that uses pre-clearance. Check out that video. Are you going to Orlando soon?

Beautiful! Outstanding location, gorgeous footage! I've been interested in drones for quite a while, but as I researched it here in the USA I found evidence this country is increasingly determined to over-regulate and over-restrict them. I know there are those who abuse drones. As usual, the powers that be are too lazy to go after them, preferring to punish all drone users. Sort of takes the fun away from the law-abiding citizens. It's now legal to fly them inside your own house and record dust bunnies under your bed without too much chance of being arrested...😁 It can be an expensive hobby, so I'm reluctant to invest in it in this hostile environment. That absolutely saddens me. I'm happy to see you have done it! 👍

Thank you. We are so lucky to have such lovely coastline nearby. It’s a shame we rarely get the weather to enjoy it! I had heard the US is tough on drones. It’s a shame. We just thought it could add some nice footage to some of our future vlogs. Noah is a genius at flying it. I need him to give me lessons 😂

There’s so many vloggers out there that are a couples with no kids- which is fine, but it’s not that same as travelling with kids- as you know. Esme loves being in the vlogs. Is she a similar age? Very similar to our trip then. We were a little worried about possibly not enjoying Universal as much but we loved it! We did throw the wee Disney day in there too though. Thanks for watching and subscribing Luke. No resorts fees at any Rosen hotel. They also don’t charge parking fees ( if you have a car). There shouldn’t be any other hidden fees but it may depend on who you book through. We got the roll away bed included but with some sites it was an extra nightly charge.

I've literally jumped on to watch this Travel home vlog, as I have not seen some of the other days yet. Been busy the last few weeks getting prepared for my holiday to Greece, to which we have just returned from. So have a few vlogs to catch up on whilst doing the washing and getting prepared for school and work on Monday 😅 Thanks for this series, guys. Never been to a Chili’s, Applebee’s or Olive Garden, which I know are popular with British tourists, like they are with Americans. I rarely eat fast food, but the other day I stopped off at a Burger King for a quick meal while running errands. I ordered the basic Whopper, fries, drink combo. It cost $17.21! I thought it was a mistake until they showed me the receipt. It used to cost about $12. Then I remembered that the minimum wage here in San Francisco recently went up from $8.75/hr to $18.07/hr. I’m all for a fair wage, particularly in an expensive city like SF, but that is crazy for a Burger King basic combo meal. Those fajitas looked really good.

Thanks for watching Alaister. You can request the 5th sleeper when booking or from guest services. They had it delivered to our room just after check in. We put it up at the bottom of the 2 queen beds. Worked great! Are you staying there for the whole time?

The unlimited express pass turned out to be an immense time saver. Excellent deal! Unfortunate weather, but as you alluded to, wading through a monsoon at Universal Orlando still beats a warm sunny day in your backyard. 😁 Paul, bravo for risking a case of queasiness by taking your youngest on the Simpson ride! Great video, were doing the same as you in August, 1 night stop for the Express Passes. How does the parking work there? I see you left your luggage in the Car, think thats a great idea rather than putting into storage whilst you shoot off to the park.

We just paid for 1 nights parking which was $33 and that got us both days as they charge per night 😉 We walked to the parks and got the water taxi which was lovely. Enjoy your stay in August. @@thekennafamilyadventures5 Amazing... We arrive Aug 1st for 15 Nights, staying at Sheraton Vistana on I-Drive, however doing the 1 night @ LRP half way through. The plan was to Uber to LRP, however seeing you mention the luggage & parking i think we will do that now, lot less hassle too.

Yeah it was handy to leave cases in the car and leave the car there until we were done in the parks. You get until the evening of your check out day so well worth it. When are you there in August? We are back in August staying at Surfside.
