You reference to "moisture" as a nagative that impacts the painted brick. If one paints a hse in summer, wld that make a difference
@realdata86244 ай бұрын
No, the aspect of summer or spring is irrelevant when we talk about moisture. It has to do more with excessive moisture in the actual substrate or water damage.

Do not paint brick!!! It’s so easy to stain. You don’t have to worry about the runs brick just sucks everything in. Very satisfied with my fireplace I just did. Lowes has a concrete stain. Chose a color and they mix it like paint.
@midwestbrickstain14312 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment, on the exterior no store-bought stains are going to hold up as they are not potassium silicate, you’re still going to deal with binders such as latex or acrylic, and that’s incorrect when you apply you will see areas where are you go lighter or harder or were you finish as our stage work similarly to if you were staying a piece of wood. I hope this helps, but that’s not a real Stain that’s a mess marketing selling you awake text acrylic product, the closest to our product as Roma bio however they are Lime based which means they will fade with an 8 to 10 years

Are you staining over the paint?

No unfortunately you cannot stain over the paint. Paint need to be removed. Stain needs to solidify to the brick.
