You succeed (where Sean Paul failed) in turning this into a song with musicality. His version followed an annoying metronome beat. Your guitar work added dimension, transforming it into a song with musicality. Well done!

I think you misinterpreted Sean's aim with this song it was a Caribbean dance song. This is a very very good cover but had this been released with the same audience with the same intent it would've been a veritable flop
