Hey Oliver - I met you at True Tattoo a few times while I was getting tattooed by Garver, he Tattooed my legs, I got the big eyeballs over my knees and a whole bunch of other Japanese work......Dave from New York. Also - I was on the first Miami show to help show Garver's talent...... fucking bad ass tattooer. That might help you remember me. I'm doing a tattoo & photography project that I wanted to share with you. If you like it or the idea/heart behind it I was hoping that you might pass it along to Dave Navarro.....I read that he met someone on a plane that had the type of tattoo that we are doing and thought that he might want to participate in the project or at least show it some love. I saw a shop in a Harley Shop in Scottsdale ,Arizona. That was pretty wild. One of the last tattoos I got the guy used the second skin stuff. I liked it until time to take it off. I was impressed with how well it healed though. Great podcast.

My first 3 tattoos were done at Classic. Colin Dowling did my first, and I remember you (Oliver) being there talking about getting pizza next door, or a meatball sub haha.I got tattoos by Frank Ball and Dan Smith there too, the whole vibe of the shop was and is amazing. Will be going in for more! Please do a part 2! Tim is incredible.

I am so hyped I found this podcast. Ben is so rad. I’ve been accidentally meeting him behind all the venues Lucero plays in Southern California. Lucero shows are second to none. Did anyone else go to the sailor Jerry show in San Diego at the bowling alley like ten years ago? Oliver please do a Lucero tattoo for me!

This makes my palm tattoo hurt again. They really aren’t kidding when they say get the rough spots young. Because holy fuck. I did the tops of my hands in 2022 at age 33 and damn. Rough.
