I remember running with my grandfather to beg for ice cream when I heard this melody in the neighborhood. He was tired after his workday and would tell me, "Son, if you reach him before me and before he leaves, the ice cream is yours." When I reached him, I remembered asking for my favorite flavor, Neapolitan. When my grandfather reached me, he was holding my cousin in his arms with a big smile. He asked for my cousin's flavor, his and my grandmother's. He passed away 13 years ago. Thank you, Grandpa, for spoiling us. I love you and I hope to do the same with my grandchildren one day. ♥

This song is my childhood. I always heard this tune around my house and I wanted to go so badly, one day I heard the tune and begged my parents to let me go. They did but he passed me. Then my mom waved from the backyard and he came to us! 😊

Last year was my 8th grade graduation and me and my friends heard this exact song and sure enough it was an ice cream truck and we all went running. Brings me back to my old days when i was a lil kid.
