And they say there’s no value in reboots or reimagining. This film is so underrated and it is comedically genius. I mean, you really have got to have nerve to take a beloved sitcom like this and put it through the wringer. It genuinely could’ve gone south so fast and yet the writers accomplished what they set to do. There’s been talk forever of them doing a Gilligan’s Island movie. I’m on the fence as to whether or not I want it to be something like this. Or something current.

When I saw this movie as a kid I wasn’t paying attention and I thought the whole family had the spaghetti, but it didn’t affect the others, either because they’re all constantly tripping anyway for whatever reason, or because they’re too pure of heart. Only later did I realize it was just him (and Alice, and I’m not sure if her going to sleep in the refrigerator was due to being on shrooms or if that’s where she always sleeps, but I’m thinking the latter, and so the shrooms didn’t affect her)

I keep watching this scene because I think it’s a lot more amusing than I did when I was a little girl. I thought he meant that he was becoming like the Brady’s, and that they were crazy. I didn’t know about hallucinogenic mushrooms when I first saw this movie.

What's even funnier is the song "Good Morning, Starshine" was by a band named Oliver. Oliver was of course the name of the cousin that stayed with the Bradys in the last couple of seasons, and was basically blamed for the downfall/cancellation of the series.
@jennyoneill88793 жыл бұрын
Most shows in the 70's, 80's and 90's added a young child or baby to attract viewers once a show started to decline

Why was he specifically blamed?

The crow and the twin Pandas in the animated segment when Roy' is tripping were in the " A very. Brady Kids" cartoon series in the early 70s while the live action show was still on the air.
@wo9914 жыл бұрын
Mostly true, except Marlin was a magical mynah bird, not a crow. The pandas were Ping and Pong. Sadly the dog Moptop didn't make it into the scene.
