Yeah, I use Crowbar for decompilinig and compiling models. If you want to learn more about modding, I recommend reading through "tutorials" section on twhl.info that has ton of helpful information. Or join their (or any other halflife) Discord server and ask to help you with more specific problems.

Scientist who died is Peters, right? According to other scientists there, he was the one who switched the surgical unit on (that's what they told to Gordon), meaning the surgical unit was off when Peters went for the controls. When he tried to go back, surgical unit cut him into pieces. The question here is: Why was the surgical unit already on when Peters tried to get across the room? And who turned it on? I sense inconsistency in the Force. 😉

2 games are in development over at valve With some chance that they are Half life games Would love to see Adrian come back to help Gordon reach the Borealis Maybe not directly, as that was never the style of the story But maybe he comes back to slow down the Combine, buying Gordon time We could have a “Current Objective: Survive” mission with him holding back the tide of the rest of the Combine forces on earth Fighting Eldritch and Cosmic horrors that were kept as a last resort in case of a successful rebellion We would get a warriors death out of the Corporal A much better ending over being stuck as a museum piece for the Gman

Most of the animations in this video are custom made in Blender. Only the one in the first clip is default and the one in second clip is edited. But yeah, everything is ported back and recorded in GoldSrc.
