in the Flashcore Manifesto, La Peste postulated that flashcore was supposed to "induce drug-like hallucinations and similar strong psychological effects, requiring specialized equipment and/or a live setting [to experience]." i think Hampton calling themselves pseudo-braindance is pretty accurate, but i believe they more align with flashcore simply on the basis that when i experienced this set at the Pinhook, i genuinely felt like the music was making me lose my fucking mind. also very cool and awesome interview.

Ya I can't lie I'm a huge flashcore fan. Les neiges noire de laponie is probably my favorite! I wasn't into flashcore when making the currently released stuff, but It's definitely influenced how we play live currently! And ty for the kind words

I discovered this band a couple months ago thru Instagram and I absolutely fucking LOVE them. I’ve been heavy on the goth/synth music train for a while but this band makes me so excited to get into exploring more metal music. The vocalist sounds like what I think Nosferatu’s inner monologue sounds like; and they are honestly kinda scary but I love the brooding sense this band gives off 🤘🏻
