Is this true for your standard CR2032 & CR 2025 batteries as well? And if so, how many batteries do u need to get an appreciable amt of silver?
@40isles2augustАй бұрын
Hell yea
@robgreenwood6939Ай бұрын
So you need $20 worth of chemicals to get $2 worth of silver..... If you had a tonne from a battery recycling box maybe...

A pure unadulterated reflection of the average European American. Materialistic and unsophisticated. Those tea cups were beautiful, rare and unique, but just like a typical yahoo, all you were concerned about was the gold amount.

It's a fucking teacup you fairy. Quit your bitching.
@tardigrademicroАй бұрын
IMO, keeping the teacups would be more materialistic. Sure, it's pretty and all, but it's a burden to keep it unbroken and preserve it, and for what? Because it's art, and you know people value it? If you keep just your teacup, you have just a teacup, but if you break it, you are less burdened by preserving it, you have had the experience of extracting gold from coating, and you now have the knowledge of how much gold is in gold coating.

Nice video. I cement the silver with copper. Do you know the weight of the test material? I usually get 2-2.5% silver by weight.

What do you think is the purity of the silver? You need energy, chemicals, proper disposal of waste, time. What is your net benefit per utensil, do you reckon?

Also I have another question. If the silver has a different melting temperature than the metal underneath the silver, why can't you just melt the silver off of the other metal? My brain has too many questions lol
@dustintempleton14085 ай бұрын
Can you tell me how much that silver is worth after you subtract the price of the chemicals? And also how long does it take to get that much silver free and melted into a bar like that?
