An ex pat in a bar April last year. They've done up the roadside apartments but hotel, retail units and rear apartments still to do. I'm trying to find if the apartments are for sale, looks like trying to sell to generate income to finish the rest. Might be totally wrong but not much info out there.

Yes we were in Albufeira for 6 weeks until the beginning of December last year, we could see some progress had been made although they hadn't appeared to have done much to the main circular building. The other apartments are being marketed for holiday let on Trip Advisor, Trivago etc so I think it's a "watch this space" situation, cheers.

Hi, thanks for your comment, it was filmed on 21st November so I would imagine that any sunbeds would have been removed before, probably by end of October as it was very quiet when we were there, cheers

And the villa has been sold early last year - supposed to be converted to a luxury hotel/retreat from the same who also bought the winery. The vineywards has been sold 2021/2022

@@djtravels57 It will be a very upmarket hotel retreat with spa . The owner currently also building luxurious villas on the coast with apartments from 1 Mio Euro upwards . Cliff was this and last year a few weeks in summer in Portugal but stayed at friends and at his sisters house .

Hi, thanks for your comment, there may be family rooms available, our room did have a sofa bed in it and the room we used for changing before our departure had a connecting door to another room, but we would recommend you contact the hotel direct with your question for a suitable answer, cheers
