Cage was always on the cusp of being a better rapper than he ended up being, but he just never quite reached it. Em reached his potential and then some.

Now let's look at the couplet, why? Because the bar you picked is actually a set up to the one it precedes. "Poppin his hood" is a double entendre, it means to get a laugh out of your neighborhood. It also means to open the hood of your car. Eminem is from Detroit, which is the motor city...hence the auto reference. That also relates to the next part "his trans mission slippin in". A transmission is part of your engine, when it shits the bed...it slips, that means it doesn't work anymore. Since Em is dressing in drag, he's on a trans(gender) mission...and it's slipping into his life outside of just the privacy of his own home. Get it? You should also take a look at the entire quatrain, cause there's like 30+ rhymed syllables. So no, that's not a weak bar 🤷‍♂️
