It's almost floating in the air, I think that's the secret to the resonance. The mounting fixture on the Kick also shakes like crazy, another good thing for resonance, that wobblyness.

The sustain difference s more obvious when closed mic which i didn't do, the bottom end comes alive with the RIMS...the tom wouldn't wobble as much if the arc of the RIMS was more downward than sideways like i did....

Just got one of these for free and trying to figure out how to set the counterweight. AFTER seeing yours I guess mine and all the ones around me ALSO are missing the counter weight :s

The counterweight is essential, maybe try a large hex nut which fits arm's end tubing

@HushAngel I ended up going through my other turntables and two of the other ones fit EXCEPT they're both two heavy for this straight arm plastic style tonearm... looks like I just need a lighter one and I'll be good. Found out a lot of counter weights are universal fit :D

L'album est sorti ...alors qu'Offenbach et Corbeau venaient d'arrêter...Les journalistes musicaux n'ont accordé que très peu d'attention à Delta Zone.l'album aurait clairement mérité plus de visibilité à l'époque.les fans de Rock Québécois auraient assurément suivi selon moi.

c'est une question de gouts, Ginette, je la connais bien, elle avait une voix forte mais peut-etre que les compositions n'étaient pas tres fortes....je suis pas fou des chanteuses mais meme si je n'aimait pas Nuance, ce groupe était peut-etre meilleur, sais pas trop ....c'est pas dans mon style de musique....pour Delta zone, peut-etre aussi qu'il n'y a pas eu assez de promotion ( petit label de disque) ....

Hi Angel, thanks for the video, excellent sound and performance on your vintage Simmons. I have the SDS1000 + TMI and I would like to ask you: was your demo performed with a stereo or mono PLUG output connection? Tell me approximately what position each sensitivity control is in for a good response. In my case, the 3 toms are at almost 80% to get a response, the bass drum and snare drum at 40 or 50%. But I'm not sure if it's correct or if I'm worn out. Sorry for my English, I'm from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Do you speak Spanish? Can I ask about the MIDI programming of the TMI?

@@HushAngel Hi Angel, I am very grateful for your response with the video (I find it very useful for comparison). I see that the same thing happens to me as to you, I adjust the sensitivity of the Toms to almost 90% except for the Bass and Drum which allows me to adjust it to less than 50%. On the other hand, in this other angle of your video I see that you adjust the volumes of all the channels to 100% and both masters (right and left) only to 1/4. Could you explain to me what difference there would be if I put it the other way around? For example, 80% for the masters and play with the individual volumes of each one of them, using the stereo output. Regards

I seen him in Edmonton, for the second time. Wow he's great entertainer , the best to me! I can't believe he gave away his harmonica, I missed that in Edmonton. Those seats must of been a fortune. They had a small fenced off part right in front of him. Maybe 75 fans in it.😅
