I love Stalecracker videos but when he said he got fired over policies I lost some respect for him. It wasn't policies. It was a hit and run while under the influence with his buddy. Everyone makes mistakes but don't say it was policies.
@PepWanАй бұрын
Well in this article it states twice it was about policies. “Chiasson was never criminally charged in connection with that situation, but LSP dismissed him for several policy violations related to the investigation into that incident. Under the agreement, Chiasson’s firing is reversed. He instead has been hit with a suspension of 240 hours total for various policy violations including conduct unbecoming, conformance to laws, violation of employee responsibility, and violation of lawful orders.”

So are they admitting he was fired due to reverse discrimination? Sounds that way a lil bit. I've also read the officer had a spotless 19+ year career with numerous awards and promotions. I'm guessing his attorney had a pretty solid case and the state knew it.

The Greene case is the truest example of just how corrupt and entangled Louisiana law enforcement remains. Is incredibly disappointing to watch other southern states successfully evolve their systems of governing to reflect the multicultural nature of modern society. Them in comparison watch while our state grips ever more tightly to the same good ole boy system that has put Louisiana last in the nation regarding every measured aspect of peoples lives.

So, if I had a designated driver because I had been drinking, and the designated driver had an accident while I was in the passenger seat, and I was a first responder, I could be fired for upholding the law by having a designated driver and not operating a motor vehicle while potentially intoxicated? There is a HUGE difference between "policy" and law. I didn't access the public information on this incident but it sure seems to me, things are a little "off."

He refused to take a polygraph about the incident… he agreed upon employment with the state police that he would fully cooperate with any investigations to include polygraphs if they see fit… also as a state police officer he was supposed to render aid and he did not nor did he attempt to get someone else to render assistance by means of calling 911

Where can someone begin getting neighbors involved and informed? This is terrifying ESPECIALLY for a moderately liberal lesbian atheist living in Livingston parish.... door to door? Who do I say call? Where would they go to redress their grievances? Is there a petition I could start? We already have some of the most underhanded, corrupt public officials in the south and this will codify it! End of accountability. Denise Perkins level of secrecy for all officials. Why do they get to publish pre-conviction accusations about citizens thereby creating unlimited FALSE NARRATIVES? Y arent Louisianians in an uproar?

I received several phone calls, all of whom stated the same thing you have indicated, and that, “there is no expectation of privacy standing outside of a public building.” They also indicated the irony of it being the LSPC itself which has now inserted itself into a political race by even sending that letter out. They said trying to strong arm the Sims campaign into taking those photos out is a direct infringement of its First Amendment Right of Free Speech. Those are some very intelligent folk who called me, and you too are obviously quite intelligent to have made the same observation!!
