Just come across your videos, really pleased I found them as this year I intend to embark on the same adventure on a GS1250. Starting from Mexico and end in Australia, I have been single handed sailing for the last 12 year and do a youtube channel along the same lines as you, a raw and honest viewpoint. Looking forward to backtracking and following your journey form the start.

The Col de Belkassem is not easy to drive.... You can't see in the video how big the loose stones are there and how steep it is. We were there in April 2023 with 3 GS 1250 Adventures. My respect that you are doing this alone. Greetings Matthias

Glad you still had many happy memories from that part of Africa but glad you made decision to turn around. Seems to be some instability in many regions of that country. Right now Sudan and South Sudan clashing some. You made the right decision. And also healing in our 1st world country. Dang mosquitos. 👍👍

Watching your amazing videos and Im concerned that in a lot of them you are riding bare hands.You wear a Leatt Brace . Having survived a 100km crash with a dear (totalled an RT) and an electric bike crash.....I have to testify that my injuries were worst on a little bike with no gloves than hitting a deer braking a clavicule and 6 ribs.
