I did not go, as it was late and I am old now lol. I was there for business and had to be sharp in the morning. However, the explosions did wake me up... that was sorta cool I guess 😅

They are leaving the Mirage building and rebranding it for Hard Rock. A guitar shaped hotel tower will be added.

That's true. But in this case they will keep the building. The demolition work is changing the landscaping, the interior, and adding the guitar shaped hotel tower.

Well, if ya know ya know, right? LOL! :) One of the reasons I did this video is that I took a pic of a Janet and showed my poker buddies... who go to Vegas all the time and had no idea WTF I was talking about when I mentioned these planes.

@@ThisWeekInGambling Well, I was in the USAF and after retirement a corporate jet pilot here in Las Vegas. Still, amazing how many are clueless to so many different things. While I have had absolutely no involvement with Janet Air, why do people obsess over it? I just don't get it - that or Area 51 or any other part of the National Security Center up there. I just don't get the fascination.

Well, as someone who's always been more observant than most, I found Janet interesting because I've been paying attention to them since before the government admitted there was an Area 51... and before the infamous UFO (or UAP) videos surfaced from the Navy. Honestly, the video was made simply as something of interest for Las Vegas visitors... that's why it's on a "gambling" channel and not on a conspiracy of UFO channel. I am actually very surprised it's getting this much traffic... as I only produce these sorts of videos for weeks where I am traveling, or there's no other gambling/casino related news, which was the case this past week. Maybe I need to do more of them?! lol :)

I think zero secrets is a bit of an overstatement. There are plenty of things we don't know about them. No one can even say with certainty what Janet means or stands for. And the simple fact that 95% of people have no clue they exist is 'secretive' by itself. The video is simply to show people something that they probably haven't noticed as a point of interest... nothing more :)

That was the feeling I got. We didn't have enough time to add the ending we shot, where we speak about the second armed guard who approached us while we were trying to grab an Uber. He told us we could be arrested just for being there with our camera gear.

Only airline that is never late. I was taking off from Vegas once and we just about got cut off by a JANET jet, basically they get to cut in front of everyone. If you listen to the air traffic control it is interesting because they don’t tell them to contact departure. They swift over to their private control

We have thought about parking garages... which means other people have thought about them... which means the resorts have probably thought about them, too. It's a good idea and it may work... but security may be waiting for spectators, too. If you try it, let us know what happens!

There will be a large exclusion zone that will stretch from Mandalay Bay to the Park MGM hotel. This is because there are no public viewing areas for safety reasons.

Do you think that the sidewalk along Reno Ave. on the Luxor side is far enough from the implosion? I’ve been looking at it from Google Street View, and it provides quite a clear view of both towers.

I have thought about that as well. The question is how far out will the police blocks be placed. All I can say is only plan for how much trouble you're willing to put up with. And getting a cab or Uber afterwards may be a pain in ass.
