At our Regimental Training Depot all recruits on passing out parades marched of the parade ground to this march: at 18 years of age ...we were indeed children.

Most of the people here have only been playing the drums for about 3 months. That band (and most of XR) has doctors, nurses, scientists, project managers, builders, psychologists, architects, and every day people who really care. They don't need to be perfect musicians to raise either alarm. That's not why they are there. Denying the climate emergency exists is like saying the earth is flat. It's a scary to think about it, but the sooner we do something about it the less severe the consequences. There are many XR samba bands all over the country and I'm sure they would love for you to join them 😁🥁
