Maybe a great product but exceptionally poor support. I emailed them as my license key does not work. It was purchased and I was provided with a license key. Its been over a week and no reply so be aware, like me you might pay and never get what you paid for or any support post the sale. Its a big NO from me.

Kick start 2 makes it more easy if you want a more visual representation of what you want it to do

Kickstart 2 doesn't let you sidechain other things than kicks. For example, a guitar solo over rhythm guitar. You can sidechain one over the other to create more space if you wanted to. This is invaluable for learning more advanced techniques instead of using gimmicky plugins.

I think Kick start 2 is infinitely worse than side chaning with limiter or with fruity peak controller, multiple reasons, Side chaining like this give a lot more intricate controll than just a simple adsr that gets activated, its a lot more reactive and easy to get the sound you want with the attack and release, kick start is just way too simplified version of sidechaning, like fatman says it only ever usefull for kicks and even thats debatable as you can do everything and more with the fruity plugins
