Truthfully I don’t feel there was much of a performance difference, but the dual row chain is supposed to be much stronger and more reliable!

The spring itself fits in the car no issue, I’ve been running it for a while now as a daily driver. It’s not branded as being made for our cars, but it does work

i absolutely recommend running the SuperPro poly bushings for the tension arms, i had my car aligned three times pripr, and never got close to true. immediately after install, steering grew much more firm, and far more responsive

quck question because i did buy the rack out the 85 supra but you mentioned it didn't work . there is a difference between both racks ? and are you from n.y. ? I'm originally from jersey but moved down to n.c. for cheaper living . we should get together in the future since it seems like majority of the dragon owners are in cali
@TEQTuning
@TEQTuning 3 ай бұрын
I found the Supra rack was a bit wider in terms of actual track width so it wasn’t possible to get a proper alignment with it using the stock Celica inner and outer tie rods, and yeah I’d be happy to talk more if you want to message me through IG!

I TRULY appreciate that info . guess I'll have to find another. I don't stand behind aftermarket bit seems like the rack is serving you well . lastly can you make drive video with the cam position from the back seat . I'd like stick owners shifting through gears and reverse. Helps keep my motivation alive since I don't drive mie yet. Thanks in advance brother

a great hub adapter that i recommend picking up is the HKB Boss hub. i have it in my 85 RA64 hatch, and it retains both the clockspring and horn bunctionality, and its ALSO a multi wheel size, able to fit both MOMO, as well as Nardi/Personal wheel bolt diameters

do they also fit on the front?
@TEQTuning

Unfortunately these would not, you would have to measure the OEM front spring size and find an aftermarket one of equivalent diameter and desired height to replace the fronts, the front and rear do not share the same size spring.

OMFGGGG thank you for making this video! I've been following your channel for such a long time. Are these the rear lowering springs for the Corolla
@TEQTuning
@TEQTuning 9 ай бұрын
They aren’t advertised as Corolla springs online, and I purchased them from somebody who used them on a Celica Supra, but I do believe the Celica springs typically fit Corollas! I’m not sure whether the GT-S and GT springs are different though

Check how much negative camber you gained from lowering the rear. Yours doesn’t look too bad but watch out for getting cambered out as the suspension drops.
@TEQTuning
@TEQTuning 9 ай бұрын
Yeah it looked like I gained about -1 or so from the drop, not so much that I’m worried since I plan to get the front suspension done soon, and then have the car aligned!
