In my opinion the quality is superior. Between the variety, options, and taste it is better than the other buffets we ate at. They all have good food, it’s the selection and quality at palace that is superior to the others.

Thank you! My best recommendation would be a pair of clothes to change into for when you leave the park because you will be getting back onto the bus all wet, doesn’t make for the best ride back lol. The second thing would be water shoes.

a cinsukta, does the upper drawer cool the same as the lower one? I have an older Dometic CDF and the top drawer only keeps the food fresh but not cold, it is for fruits, eggs, etc. and I have that question if it is still the same as before or does it cool just like the basket part?

Correct, the things you put on the top part stay cool kind of cold, the ones on the lower level is the main fridge/freezer area

I enjoyed your v log!! Can you please give a tip to make a reservation for dinner? Is it possible to make a reservation in advance before check in?

Thank you! Unfortunately they do not let you make reservations prior to your arrival but I recommend making them immediately after your check in. Some of them become completely booked so what I recommend is check daily because people cancel and you can get a reservation that wasn’t available. Or what we did is you go to the restaurants and they say have x amount of people showing up for a reservation but if they don’t show then they will let you sit and we did that twice and both times they did not show and we only waited about 20 mins. Hope that helps

Barceló Beach, in my opinion. You can also enjoy at the Palace but it seems to be less rocky and larger area to enjoy In front of the Barceló beach resort area. I completely forgot to add the name when editing and realized when it was too late lol.

@mley2850 thank you! This was in July. They did not provide any floaties that I know of but I did not ask for one either so I can’t say with certainty. We took our own foldable one just expecting that we wouldn’t have any available for the baby. There is also a gift shops that sells many different floaty options.

I notice there is an outside storage door under your dinette slide . What does that go to ? Extra storage? I have a Forest River model that is very similar in design but wish we bought the Jayco model you have

It is extra storage it is same depth as the dinette. It’s works great for us to keep a lot of extra things down there. Forest River is a great brand as well, best of luck and enjoy yours!

Return the heat too the outside. A split system ac unit for homes do the same principal for cooling off a home . You also have to drain the condensation from the coil

A battery is only going to last so long. It will eventually die & need to be charged...you need a generator for weekend use to power this unit up for sure.

I haven’t tried it out yet but my test was going to be just use it during the night recharge with solar during the day and maybe that would work. 98% of the time your not in the tent during the day time so figured if it gives enough power to run the night time then that would be great.

I would recommend this specific model for car camping. This is a very large unit. This is more of a stationary unit in my opinion. They do sell smaller units which would do much better for a mobile set up

I’ve been looking a lot at this rig. I’d like to get the Overlander 2 package though to get the 400 W solar and inverter. How’s the built quality of the rig? I’ve seen lots of comments of issues with Quality.

I wanted to get the upgraded package but it was hard to track down a nearby model. I take all these RV with an open mind. They all have their issues, it comes with the territory of the material, process and time frame in which they build out these rigs. With that said I find the RV to be well built especially in comparison with many other rvs in this price point. I have found minor things but it was expected.

Your drains are in exactly the wrong place- you have no breakover angle where you need it the most. The most modest hump in a road and it's going to rip all your low hanging drains off. They should be mounted as close as possible to the wheels. And blow your nose- disgusting.

@tacl hi. I'm Crystal. I'm interested in purchasing an air beam tent. I live in GA. Where did you get yours from? Did u order from the UK? IF SO HOW MUCH WAS IT TO SHIP? How do you feel about your tent now? I'm really interested. I'm trying to decide but I think I want a single inflation point air tent. What brands would you recommend presently? Have you had to replace any beams? How easy was it for you to get the beams in if you have had to replace any? How hard is it to replace them? How does it hold up to rain? I'm having a hard time finding how to get one to the US. Sorry I know its a lot of questions. Hope to hear from you soon.

he have a fifth wheel and have learned that if the furnace is on and if the hotwater tank is set to propane the carbon monoxide monitor will go off continually. so once we eliminate one, then the carbon monoxide detector stops. but i would definitely bring it to a shop that you trust and have them check it out.

Thanks for that info. We had to disconnect it to get it to stop and are going to most likely have it replaced it seems like. The thing is we didn’t even have the water heater on so there was nothing to trigger it. It spent a whole week after that, never stopped beeping so we had to disconnect it.

It’s just epoxy and paint. I get it not everyone has the same taste but that’s the cool part about making your own trailer you make it to your personal taste.

It’s 57 inches long when collapsed. If you put the back seats down I think it should fit fine.

It didn't look like that fridge light was coming on when you opened the door. Those fridges are supposed to work very well. I have 2 of them and they both get ice cold. One thing to be aware of is those fridges have their own fuse either in the back or behind the grill on the front botton.

Yeah the fridge light doesn’t automatically come on when I open the door it seems to get stuck so I need to manually press it. When I have the fridge plugged in for a couple days it’s great and really cools up. But when I disconnect the rv and travel between one spot and the other the fridges seem to significantly increase in temperature so not sure if when on 12V it’s just that efficient and powerful or if it’s another issue. Otherwise besides that I do the fridge capacity.
