You're certainly right about gossip. It's worse than useless. I know one otherwise good Christian lady who can't keep from gossipping about people. She's a walking encyclopedia on everybody in town and who they've ever slept with; but I've heard her tell things that she'd heard or assumed wrongly that I know couldn't possibly be true. She'd be so much better off if she'd just cool it.

The content of this video is great, but the technical quality is out of this world! That was a great one! Blessings, brother! During the first minute, I wasn't able to hear anything more than occasional isolated words, so I was about to click it off. That's when I thought about closed captioning, turned it on, and started over. I don't know how KZbin's server was able to hear it well enough, but it worked. He has a feature with Little Simz on it he is the only male contender for AOTY by billboard, rolling stone, NME and AP. His title track is Lost! and the MV is inspired by Tyler the creator's earthquake.

Nice, but there is one thing: Do you wash your pasta? Then why do you wash your rice? American rice is packaged clean, and it's going to be boiled anyway. I can read the word "Enriched" on your big Goya bag. That means that after brown rice was milled into white rice, it was then sprayed with thiamine, folic acid, and niacin to replace nutrients that were milled away with the bran and germ of the grain. Virtually all white rice is enriched...until you wash the enrichment away! Finally, the cloudiness in the water is free rice starch from the milling process. If left in, it caramelizes during cooking, which adds excellent flavor and smell to your cooked rice. Try it and see if it's not better.

Avocados are shipped green and refrigerated. Once at room temp, they'll ripen in 2-3 days. I buy them green and let them ripen at home. I cut them in halves, remove the seed, then scoop the shells out with a tablespoon, instead of peeling quarters by hand. Most folks let the seed sprout in water, then plant in soil afterward. There are plenty of YT videos showing how. They'll only make you a houseplant, though. They can't take any frost at all. Besides, the trees take 6-10 years to begin to bear. Your recipe needs some jalapeños. The least Mexican ingredient that you used was the black pepper. 🤣 Your finished product looked great, though.
@VDeezy94
@VDeezy94 11 ай бұрын
2-3 days?!?! Mine were bought hard and took a couple weeks to ripen. I think I’ll give the spoon technique a try next time. Quarters became a habit for other uses but scooping makes sense for guacamole. I watched a few of those and I saw a guy do both water and potted, but I’ll give the water method a shot. I don’t care if Mexicans use black pepper personally, it was delicious.
@MikeV8652
@MikeV8652 11 ай бұрын
@@VDeezy94 It might be that mine have been in refrigeration for less time, due to the short distance from source. You can hasten ripening by putting them in a bag with an apple or banana (or a sequence of bananas if it takes too long). Ethylene released by ripening fruit hastens ripening of other fruit. You can cube avocados easily in the shell with a knife, then scoop the cubes out with a spoon. If you like your guacamole with black pepper, then go for it!

For 2 years, a few strict people in my life have me seeking more of their approval.....points are to not associate myself with certain people yet I have to be a lovable person.....i realized I am more hateful when I am confined. My anxiety comes from social situations when I can sense myself judging others out of pride or prejudice. I originally want to engage, but my mind reflects on what the strict person told me.....I've been out in such a box to protect me, yet my spirit/light is going out.
@victoryforthepeople1

Got you, for me as well, I get anxiety in social circles, not knowing who to talk with, how to engage. I definitely give off not as confident vibes, yes it is all mental. Yes, we are supposed to show up as ourselves. I'm learning it's okay to be quiet, sitting still, and speaking up in wisdom. I don't want to be perceived as stuck up when I'm too quiet.....but yo I've been around a lot of immature people who are dependent on speaking down on others. I don't want to be a partaker in gossip, this is why I stay to myself mainly. Then, also, I've been far too conformed in a way to avoid my personality that is unique to my upbringing. A certain group or person making me believe I need to stop dressing a certain way or listening to my favorite music. 😢

I still don’t particularly enjoy them honestly, but I know I can step into them now, hold my own, and not feel a way about being there. It just comes with repetition, amongst doing other things to build confidence. Also, I’ve found that I just enjoy personal dialogue more because speaking with people directly allows for deeper conversations which are more fulfilling for me. On that note, most people aren’t confident across the board. It’s pretty much human to have doubts and insecurities come up. I can’t think of a person I know (myself included) that doesn’t. Confidence emerges in those that attempt to keep pushing through their own doubts and limiting beliefs. Once you begin to prove to YOURSELF that you’re capable of more than you thought… You’re on to something. Lastly, everyone has their own view, beliefs and perspectives on the world and others. So if I live my life based off people’s assumptions, I’m gonna be pretty conflicted, and also have no clue who I truly am. There’s a time and place for advice and opinions (this included). I’d say any external advice needs to be processed internally before applying it to see if it’s in resonance with your core; no matter where it comes from. Overtime, you’ll find your true self and that in turn…. Builds more confidence.

Something I am learning while staying true to myself is to ask the question, "is this wise", rather than "is this wrong?" When I want to do something. Because I have a religious spirit still that blocks me from making decisions that may benefit me. But I also am cautious because I've done things that I knew weren't wise to do.

Good job! I never peel carrots, especially when they're going to be cooked. I think the sauteing was unnecessary, because the veggies would cook in the soup more quickly than the lentils. Viscous = thick, sticky. Don't avoid iodized salt. Iodine is essential for good thyroid function, which promotes strong testosterone levels. You can get iodized sea salt. The coconut milk was definitely a bridge too far! I like to use oregano. I've got acres of it. It grows naturally here. Cooking degrades the heat of red pepper, so season to taste with it after cooking.
