I see now that CloudFront distribution creation requires a WAF setting. I have it set to disabled since the web site is not public. Either way shouldn't matter I think because of free-tier thing.

However, I have a question: can I use an EC2 instance in a private subnet to communicate with an Azure Kubernetes Pod? Initially, I thought it would work once the S2S VPN was connected, but despite testing everything and opening all the security group rules, I still cannot establish communication. Could you provide guidance on this issue?
