They did reach out to me first but you should email [email protected] and ask for their influencer contact, Chauncey! Also, if you join the TikTok shop affiliate program there are a ton of automatic litter boxes you can get for free on there! I worked with one creator who by now has gotten 10+ smart litter boxes for free from TikTok shop! 🤩

On Instagram, they are pushing photos in the algorithm more than usual BUT Reels really are *the way* to get new followers. I always encourage creators to mix it up with both photos and videos but unfortunately video content will help you grow most right now!!

For sure! Just make sure to avoid watermarks. I’d recommend using a 3rd party editing app like InShot (I just posted a video about free apps to use!) and you can do what we call “cross post” the same video to your multiple social media channels 😊

I use instagram, facebook, TikTok, and KZbin pretty much equally, though I feel I spend the most time on video editing with KZbin due to having to add tags and keywords to optimize my reach

I have a question for you...if one wants to set up a separate account just for your pet, what should the email/info look like? Example: FN: Fluffy LN: Bigcat DOB/age: (what goes here since most pets will be between age 1-8.) Do you lie about an age? THNX

You definitely don’t have to include the age. I’d recommend keeping it as simple as possible. Like [email protected]. Also, I’d never recommend adding numbers or special characters because that makes it harder for others to remember and to type in the email (aka: more typos and lost email opportunities)

I think I will be one of the pet influencers in the future. I am selling paper box atm but I do not really into it. I want to record a lot of pets' life and share to everybody. once I got a lot followers, I think some pet products brand owners will ask me for advertising their product.

Can you still be successful with just posting quality content and not really having a business intention? I just post cute and funny videos of my cats at the moment but I’m still trying figure out what I will focus on later as a business aspect. I know this is different for everyone but in terms of ballpark estimates, how long does it take for a decent pet creator to get noticed? I’ve only been posting for little over a month. Thank you for your informative videos too!

Such a difficult question because…I’ve worked with pet creators who have been posting for a year and haven’t had much financial gain. YET I also have worked with a handful who have reached 100k followers within just a few months (and you can do brand deals of $1000+ at that point!). For now you can just focus on your channel’s follower engagement and improving your watch time/viewer retention. That’d be MOST worthwhile I’d think for you!

What are your thoughts about dog accounts that mainly follow trends? a lot of the big ones i find just do all trends.

I think it mostly depends on the person’s long term goals. There are a lot of channels that just want to grow just for fun. Trends can work for growth. Others have strong intention to earn money as an influencer. Trendy videos may not work as well for that. There’s a lot I could say on this so I’ll write this down as a full video to dive deep into!

I have an "ugly" pet frogs. (according to some friends) i got challenged i created a channel for them. 😂 It's been a month and...yeah i think they are correct. people really don't like pet frogs especially those i got. I barely get subscribers and views. But i love them so much, i 'll probably do some more videos of them before deciding weaher to give up or continue with the vlog.
