Researched a little with some friends in Botswana and Namibia. Petrol doesn't overheat much, diesel is powerful because of turbo. Again, that's where my financial muscle reached

I suggest you only put 2 rows of seats then put a metallic mesh barrier behind the rear seat and leave adequate room for luggage. The advantage of this van is that it is very popular and widely used in Africa. It is the best for road trip. i suggest you also raise it a bit incase you encounter bad roads.

Ensure Ac is fully functional no leaks and enough gas. New and 2 extra tyres. Ensure fuel pump system is properly working and all electrical are on point
